Introduction

Well no place to start off than the start of the San Francisco Bulls Pro Hockey office. I’m Nick Cukar, Ticket Sales and Service Manager with the SF Bulls and I was one of the first employees to begin working for the Bulls when the office opened up in September. I recently graduated from San Jose State University, majoring in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Management and played collegiately on the Men’s Soccer team. Although my background is not hockey, I have found that Hockey and Soccer are very similar and that has been my tie in with the sport of Hockey, eventually leading to my interest in joining the San Francisco Bulls front office staff.

As a recent graduate, being able to have my first professional job in a start-up organization is really great. I love the small team atmosphere that we have here; it really does make you feel like you are more a part of the organization than other major league teams. It’s great to see the transformation of the office from calling out of phone books with three people in the office, to now having a computer CRM data base and a more defined staff complete with a CEO, CMO, and CFO. We are a great staff and I feel very privileged to be part of such a great, energetic group and eager to get the puck dropping in October!
