Beers, Blogs, Rats and Heart Breaks
by Brandon Nichols

Nearly four-months in the books here at Bulls HQ and I don’t know where to start.  There has been so much going on, nearly every day comes with a different task or mission agenda that sometimes it’s hard to take a step back and remember what we’re all trying to build here is a hockey team.  Things are finally starting to straighten out around here but the beginning has not been without its share of setbacks.

It’s hard to believe that slightly less than 120 days ago I met Coach Curcio for the first time in the back of the small dusty office full of boxes, no phone lines, and no power.  Since then we’ve expanded, but for the first few months there were roughly 10 of us all crammed into a small little corner of the Cow Palace.  Being squished into those tight corners probably helped turn us all into a family though.  Keep in mind when I say family I assume most people, myself included, come from slightly dysfunctional families.

So what have we been doing these past 120 days?  We’ve done some painting, moved some furniture, killed some rats, drank some beers, and oh yeah, sold some hockey tickets.
