The Blog From The Fog by Jason Breiter

When I handed the microphone back to Georgette Sarles, President of the Daly City-Colma Chamber of Commerce, chants of “Go Bulls, Go Bulls” filled City Hall. It was a truly inspirational moment for me as one of the new members of the San Francisco Bulls front office, and a wonderful conclusion to Small Business Week.

I had just finished giving a short speech about the San Francisco Bulls, the newest professional sports team in the Bay Area, and about the excitement and importance of bringing professional hockey back to the great city of San Francisco. I explained how the Bulls will not only be a fun and affordable live entertainment option, but a significant contributor to the local economy and job market in Daly City…something we are very proud of.

Throughout the week (May 21st through May 24th) I had the opportunity to meet and network with many business owners and operators, restaurateurs, community members, and local politicians. I discovered some of the area’s tasty cuisine, sampled regional beers and wines, and learned about the businesses that line our streets and the services they provide. Most importantly, I realized that the Daly City community is a family and everyone is enthusiastic to have the Bulls on board.

The San Francisco Bulls organization looks forward to partnering with community members and local businesses to help Daly City and Colma continue to grow and prosper. Please e-mail me at jasonb@sfbulls.com if you are interested in discussing how we can work together, or just want to chat about the SF Bulls Hockey.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Georgette Sarles, Felicia Leong, Olga Gonzalez, and the entire Daly City-Colma Chamber of Commerce staff for putting Small Business Week together. It was a great success! I would also like to express my gratitude to all the members of the public and the Chamber for coming out and supporting this community.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the Cow Palace in October when the SF Bulls kick off their inaugural season.
