San Francisco, Calif. – The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, released today the 2012-13 promotional schedule highlights. Featured throughout the season will be a series of ongoing promotions, as well as special theme nights and giveaways for the whole family. Mini-Plans available of 18, 12 and 6 games will include many of the promotional dates planned. More promotional dates and events will be announced at a future date.

October

The Bulls kick-off their inaugural 2012-13 season on Friday, October 12 at the Cow Palace with the Opening Night Celebration, as professional hockey returns to San Francisco for the first time in over 16 years. Fans in attendance will receive a 2012-13 Magnetic Schedule. The following night on Saturday, October 13, the arena will be rockin’ again when Cowbells or Rally Towels will be given to fans.

November

The Bulls keep on giving in the month of November. Following the team’s nine-game road trip, on Friday, November 9, fans will walk away with an SF Bulls Hat. On Saturday, November 10, it’s a Schedule Poster Giveaway. Families will want to bring their kids out to the Saturday, November 17 for the Bulls Youth T-shirt Giveaway.

December

The month of December will feature one of the biggest traditions in ice hockey, the Teddy Bear Toss. On Friday, December 7, fans are encouraged to bring a new stuffed animal to the Cow Palace to throw onto the ice following the Bulls’ first goal. All of the stuffed animals will then be donated to a local hospital. It’s an interactive hockey tradition you won’t want to miss. The next night, on Saturday, December 8, fans will receive a Special Bulls Holiday Stocking. To close out the month, on Friday, December 28, fans receive a Bulls T-shirt.

January

On Friday, January 4, in honor of the team playing at the legendary Cow Palace, fans will receive a Foam Cowboy Hat. Fans attending All Faiths Night on Saturday, January 19 will receive a Bulls Hat. All Faiths Night festivities will also include Faith testimonials and live concerts.

February

Jersey collectors will want to circle Sunday, February 10 on the calendar, when the team will wear Specialty Jerseys to be auctioned off following the conclusion of the game. Dog lovers will have a unique opportunity to bring their K-9 to the Bulls game on Sunday, February 17 for Pucks and Paws Day.

March

March, the busiest month of the season, will feature a “Green” Tote Bag Giveaway on Friday, March 8. On Saturday, March 9 is Travel Mug Giveaway. The Bulls will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 16 with a Special Edition St. Patrick’s Day Hat Giveaway. For Breast Cancer Awareness Night on Friday, March 22, women will receive a commemorative Bulls Pink Hat. On Saturday, March 23, the Bulls will host a Live Post-Game Jersey Auction for the team’s Orange Jerseys. Plus, fans will receive a Rally Towel or Cow Bell. Fan Appreciation Night on Friday, March 29 will complete the home regular season schedule. Fans will receive a Commemorative 2012-13 Bulls Inaugural Season Poster.

Ongoing Promotions

Throughout the season, Bulls fans will have the chance to participate in in ongoing promotions, in addition to the special theme nights and giveaways. Get a Pair Wednesdays will feature two for one hot dog specials. The Cow Palace will host Thirsty Thursdays, with two for one domestic beers. Play along with all of your friends on Hockey Bingo Fridays. Receive a Bingo card and watch to see if your spaces are completed during the game to receive special Bulls prizes. Kids, 12 and under, in attendance on Sundays will have the chance to take a Shot at the Bulls Goal after the game. Available for Sunday games are the 4 for $64 Ticket Packs, including four Seats on Goal tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas. Throughout the entire season, fans will have the opportunity to take part in Chuck-A-Puck during an intermission. Purchase a rubber puck and have it land closest to center ice to win the grand prize.

The puck drops on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday games at 7:15 pm, with doors opening at 6 pm. Sunday games will have a 2:15 pm start time, with doors opening at 1 pm.
