SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today that forward Yanni Gourde was loaned from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Worcester Sharks. Gourde will meet the team in Utah, and is expected to be in the lineup tonight, when the Bulls visit the Utah Grizzlies at 6:05 pm PT.

Gourde, 21, is in his first full year of professional hockey. He spent the beginning of this season and the end of last season with Worcester, totaling 13 points (8 goals, 5 assists) in 48 games. Last season, the St. Narcisse, Quebec native, led the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in assists (87) and points (124) in 68 games. He was bestowed the league’s MVP honor and named to the QMJHL First All-Star Team.

The Bulls continue with their six-game road trip tonight against the Utah Grizzlies at 6:05 pm PT. Tomorrow, the Bulls will visit the Colorado Eagles at 6:05 pm PT. The Bulls return home on March 6 to host the Alaska Aces. Follow the games on KNBR.com and AmericaOneSports.com.
