Hi hockey fans!  I’m in Stratford, Ontario continuing to meet with prospective players and their agents.  Yesterday afternoon I met with a forward who could be a great leader who had a great career in juniors and was a high pick in the NHL.  In the morning I met with two defensemen, one played in the AHL and the other was a player from Oakville, Ontario who played Division I NCAA hockey in the US.  As you can tell I’ve been doing all I can to meet with as many prospects as possible while here in Canada so I can head back to SF with a good idea of who will be playing for the Bulls in October.

I hope to meet with possible NHL affiliates in the next few weeks.   I’d love to be able to get an affiliate deal in place soon because who we affiliate with will absolutely influence our roster and which players we sign.

These meetings have been going very well and it doesn’t take much to sell these guys on playing in San Francisco.  The city has a great reputation for being beautiful, full of passionate sports fans and fun.  These factors make playing for the Bulls very appealing to these young guys.  But I’ll be honest; they have also been asking me the tough and important questions that all serious athletes should ask when trying to figure out the next step in their career.  The players are so well educated today.  All of them have aspirations to play in the NHL and the top leagues in Europe and they all want to know how I’m going to help get them get the opportunity to play at that next level.  Tough questions, but the kind of players I’m looking for will ask those questions and be hungry to advance their careers and win.  I want players who are passionate, want to have fun and when it’s time to go to work, will work hard.  That’s Curdog hockey!
